Privacy Policy for toodoo

toodoo is designed to work without an account and without sending personal information to the developer.
Information handled by the app
When you create a task, toodoo stores the task title, planned date, completion state, creation date, and last-updated date in the app's local database on your device. For recurring tasks, it also stores the recurrence rule, series identifier, calendar anchor, and occurrence links. This information is used only to provide the task-planning features you request.
If you subscribe to Toodoo Plus and enable iCloud Sync, the same task data is also stored in your private iCloud database so it can sync between Apple devices signed in to your iCloud account. This sync is optional, is not used for advertising or analytics, and does not create a toodoo account.
Data collection and sharing
The developer does not sell or share task data, and does not use it for advertising, analytics, or tracking. The app does not contain advertising, analytics, tracking technology, third-party software development kits, or a developer-operated server. Optional iCloud Sync uses Apple's CloudKit service and the user's private iCloud database.
Device backups
Your device operating system may include app data in a device backup according to your Apple settings. Those backups are provided and controlled by Apple, not by the developer of toodoo.
Data deletion
You can delete individual tasks in the app. When iCloud Sync is enabled, task deletions are synced to your private iCloud database. Uninstalling toodoo removes local app data from the device, subject to any device backups and iCloud storage you control through Apple services.
Support communications
If you contact toodoo Support by email, we receive the information you choose to provide, such as your email address and message. We use that information only to respond to your request.
Children's privacy
toodoo does not knowingly use task data for advertising, analytics, or tracking for children or any other user.
Changes to this policy
If a future version changes how data is handled, this policy and the App Store privacy disclosures will be updated before that version is released.
